Let us share why Sweetwater Sights holds a special place in our hearts and stands out among other RV parks. It all started years ago, after we tied the knot, with a dream to one day open our own campground. For years, we kept an eye on a piece of property that many would have dismissed as unpromising—a swampy area divided by a creek, tangled with overgrowth. But to us, it held promise.
With a three-year-old son who adored the outdoors, our passion for the campground idea grew stronger. In 2019, we finally took the plunge and approached the property owners, who agreed to sell. Then came COVID, slamming the brakes on our plans. Material shortages and labor scarcity made progress agonizingly slow.
Undeterred, we rolled up our sleeves and dove in. From clearing weeds and overgrowth to laying irrigation pipes, we tackled every task ourselves. Our little boy, clad in his overalls and Muck boots, was right by our side through it all.
Five years have passed—a journey marked by triumphs and setbacks, but ultimately, gratitude for what we've achieved. This little campground is now ours, a labor of love and dedication. And now, with two little boys in tow, we eagerly anticipate watching them grow up, sharing in the joy of ensuring our guests have a memorable stay.
Sweetwater Sights isn't just a business to us—it's a dream realized, a testament to perseverance, and a haven we're proud to share with you.
